Our Tremendous Inheritance
Christ in you, the hope of glory.
~ Colossians 1:27 ~
These words from Paul's letter to the Colossians reminds us of the tremendous inheritance believers have in Christ. Note the phrase, 'Christ in you '. This is a result of our receiving Jesus Christ into our lives as our Lord and saviour. As the prologue of John's Gospel states 'As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to be the children of God'.
The phrase, 'hope of glory' is a hope that will never disappoint. We have the assurance of being with Christ in the New Heaven and the New Earth forever! In His presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures forever more.
A great motivation for the Christian life!
