Saul really changed drastically. He went from persecuting the church to serving it. He started serving God immediately. He did not become a leader immediately, but he did start sharing the good news immediately. 

We too, need to change - in our relationship to God, to the church, and to the world. 

In Gal.3:26-27 Paul challenges us to be one body, although the church is made up of diverse people groups. We need to reach out to all. Even if there is a risk. 

We must follow Christ's example and be prepared to suffer. 

"Suffering, then, is the badge of true discipleship. The disciple is not above his master."  - Dietrich Bonhoeffer

We should do surprising things for our Lord.
