The disciples were expecting great power, what they got was yeast. They had to learn to wait patiently in faith.Waiting can be difficult. Yet sometimes it is necessary.

 

There was a law against sowing darnel (tares) in fields. Yet it was a problem. (Hence the law.) While it was growing there was a long time, when it was indistinguible from the good wheat. Waiting can be difficult, but we must expect suffering, waiting, and the work of Satan. Knowing that God will sort things out in the end.
