Peter defends his visit to Cornelius. When the Jerusalem believers learned that God had given his Holy Spirit to the Gentiles, they praised God. 

The beginning of the church in Antioch, the beginning of a geographical and cultural explosion for the church. 

Some disciples had been preaching to the Jews in Antioch. Men from Cyprus and Cyrene started witnessing to the Greeks in Antioch. Many believed and the church in Jerusalem sent Barnabas, who encouraged them, brought more to the Lord, and then went to get Saul in Tarsus to help him.
