Romans 1:4 - And who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.
This verse from Romans tells us the significance of the resurrection of Christ. He has power as the Son of God. What kind of power? First, he is the agent of creation. The Father created the universe through the Son. John says that all things were made by him and without him nothing was made that has been made. (John 1:3) Also, he has power to judge the world and he has power to save you from judgement. Romans 1:18 states- I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God for salvation to anyone who believes; to the Jew first and also to the Greek. ( Greek refers to all non-Jews) The Gospel is for us all.
Have a blessed Easter!
