Bethlehem Walk

Our energetic seniors are planning an outing to St. Lazare to attend the Walk to Bethlehem at Hudson Community Baptist Church.
This event is open to all who are willing and able to brave the cold and being on your feet for an hour or more.
We will meet in St. Lazare at 4:30 pm. in the church parking lot on Saturday, November 28th, if the weather is good. If the weather favours our postponing our attendance at the event, we will reschedule for the following Saturday.
This is a great event and we are looking forward to it. Invite your friends and family! Don't forget you all need to wear shoes or boots that are comfortable for walking. Expect to be on your feet for an hour or more.
Although this is an outing planned by our seniors, it is an event that can be enjoyed by mobile people of all ages, and seniors are encouraged to invite younger friends and family members, and even their grandchildren if they wish!
We also encourage younger people to come and invite a senior! Perhaps you have a parent, grandparent, or older neighbour who would appreciate it if you drove them! (Just be sure only to invite seniors who are can handle it. See the note below.)
If you have a car, and would be willing to help with the driving, sign up, no matter what your age.
We will have a sign up sheet near the front door, for those willing to drive, seniors needing transportation, anyone who would like a phone call if we decide to change the date, and just anyone who wants to join us for this outing!
Note:
This is an outdoor event. All should dress warmly. Expect to be outside for at least an hour. The tour itself lasts about 45 minutes and the event is so popular we expect to have to wait in line quite awhile. (The event starts at 5 pm, but we are meeting at 4:30 pm)
Note also that it is a walk, involving some walking uphill and downhill on uneven ground. It is not recommended for those who have walking difficulties.

PS - This is a public event, good for the physically able of all ages. It runs for 4 days: November 27 & 28, and December 4 & 5. The seniors group, Caleb's Partners, is planning to go as a group of seniors, family and friends, but others are invited to check the website for the event and go when it best suits them.
