THI: Domestic Abuse
Wednesday, October 22, 2025, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
We are planning a gathering of people to discuss the issue of domestic abuse and how the church can help on Zoom. This is part of the Trauma Healing Institute's program for healing broken hearts and the session is for people who have finished the Trauma Healing Core or attended at least 2 out of the six sessions.
In this session we will:
- Define and describe domestic abuse.
- Consider what the Bible says about how we should treat family members and compare that with cultural beliefs and practice.
- Discuss how to help people trapped in abusive situations.
- Discuss how to help abusers repent and take steps toward recovery.

If you have not met them, or you would prefer an afternoon group or a group meeting on a Thursday evening, you can register on this other form.
