Pray without ceasing
Pray without ceasing. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:17 ~
The Lord Jesus Christ told the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18 to teach us that we ought always to pray and not give up.
Paul tells us to pray for one another and in 1 Timothy 2 , to pray for government leaders that we may be able to live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and reverence for this is good and acceptable to God who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom in due time.
We should be a people of prayer, joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. (Romans 12:12)
