Mothers
Genesis 1:27-28 - God created man in his own image, in the image of God he
created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to
them, "Be fruitful and increase in number.
Genesis 3:20 - And Adam called his wife Eve because she was the mother of
all the living.
Deuteronomy 5:16 - Honour you father and your mother, that your days may be
long, and that it may go well with you...
God created parents and these verses explain to us the importance God places
on that fact regarding the whole human race.
This Mother's Day we emphasize the role of mothers. They nurture their
children and are worthy of great honour. I am married to a wonderful wife
and caregiver who is also a great mother of our three young adult children.
