Sandwich The City
Sandwich The City is a ministry of Peoples Church where on the 2nd Saturday of the month we prepare and deliver sandwiches and other small food items to the homeless men and women in downtown Montreal. We strike up conversations, hear their stories, share their fears and joys. We laugh with them, we cry with them. We talk about Jesus and through our giving of a simple meal, we can be Christ’s hands and feet in a hurting and broken world.
Typically, we go out on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 4pm from Peoples Church (2097 Union Ave.).
For more info about meeting dates, times, or general inquiries about how you can get involved, please e-mail us at

Capernwray Men’s Conference 2012 “The Life of Abraham”
The Capernwray Men’s Conference 2012 is an opportunity for you to set aside the pressure and daily demands of life and come to be refreshed in mind, heart & soul as we seek Christ together. The men on staff at Capernwray Quebec invite you for a weekend of focus, fellowship & fun. Solid, practical Bible teaching, Christ-centered praise in song, a mouth-watering menu and plenty to see & do are all included.
Conference Speaker: Steve Thiessen
Stephen Thiessen grew up in Southern Manitoba before attending Capernwray Harbour Bible Centre in British Columbia. After several years serving with Capernwray Harbour he moved here to Quebec to begin work at a newly planted Bible Centrecalled “Capernwray Quebec” . Now, 12 years later along with his wife and four children, Stephen is the Director of this growing Capernwray Ministry from which he continues to disciple young people and travel across Canada encouraging others through the Word of God.
Bible Study Topic: The Life of Abraham
“Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able…” This was the word of the Lord that God spoke to Abraham. A symbol of His impossible promise, a measure of the incredible blessing that God was prepared to produce in Abraham. We find so many practical principles for today, as we look at the life of a “man of faith”, who not only saw the promises of God, but went on to live and receive them. Join us as we discover God’s work through Abraham, who was “blessed, to be a blessing”, that we too might take hold of the promises of God, which he has laid before us.

Small Groups
Want to Get More Connected ?
Join a small group. As Christians, we are to belong, not just to believe. Over 50 times in the New Testament the phrase “one another” or “each other” is used. Some examples are: Encourage one another (Heb.10:25); Teach … Admonish … Forgive … (Col.3:16); Honor … Be Devoted to…(Rom.12:10); Pray for… (James 5:13-16); Accept… (Rom.15:7); Submit to… (Eph.5:21); and Serve one another… (Gal.5:13). All of these are more likely to happen as we meet together in a small group.
At Peoples Church we have a number of small groups where you can get connected with other believers.
